Coffee Bluff Weather was created to give residents of the Coffee Bluff and Fort McAllister areas, as well as all coastal outdoors enthusiasts, access to the current and historical weather data for the inland Ossabaw area.

The weather sensors are located on my dock on the Forrest River at latitude 31.9N and longitude 81.2W. The weather system is a Davis Weather Monitor II and has been in place on the dock for almost 4 years. The software used to post the data to the web is Weather Display.

The weather site is a hobby of and personally supported by me and I hope that people who use the site enjoy the information.

Thanks to Brian Tansy for his help in getting the site off the ground and Mark Cribbs for turning it into a site that looks pretty darn slick.

Stay tuned, we plan to keep improving the site as we have time.
